Watch Plant  » Mayak» was founded  in Serdobsk in 1943.

Since 1944,  it began to make the first striking clocks and alarm clocks (AU-52).

In 1955, the plant succeeded in  producing  of alarm clocks with cuckoo.
In 1965 the plant produced wall-mounted and  electro-mechanical watches.
By 1993, the production of cuckoo clocks has reached 15 million! pieces, more than a million were exported to 44 countries (USA, Canada, Sweden, Brazil, Mexico, Mongolia, etc.)

Watch Plant  " Mayak"  has repeatedly participated in international exhibitions.
